Can you read at all? You said cutting a Pro Bowl QB would be a bad decision. Dorsey and Reid cut a Pro Bowl QB early on in their tenure here. In your own words you said that would be a bad move. It's like you're intentionally trying to be a ****ing reerun

The Pro Bowl QB they cut is not in any way comparable to the one they signed to replace him. Apples and oranges. But you know that, you are just being stupid.

Cannot believe how fast this played out. Yesterday morning was the first I heard about it and by evening it was done.

Incredible double standard around this place when it comes to QBs.

You are correct the double standard is clearly evident.

Because Romo and Ryan haven't come up short to this point in their careers?

I find it ironic that the "team" is responsible for Romo, Ryan, and Stafford losing games but Alex's struggles early in his career were obviously all his fault.

Jesus Christ. Reading comprehension apparently isn't your gift. Where did I say cuttin Cassel was bad? Saccoshit said cuttin a Pro Bowl QB ain't a good call. Cassel was a Pro Bowl QB. He deserved every ****in bit of his release for his play on the field, but it doesn't change the fact that he was a Pro Bowl QB.

It couldn't possibly be that Smith played under some shitty coaching and had to adjust to learning new offenses every couple years. No way that caused him to underperform, the Chiefs are just stupid for taking him.

It's just not possible that Reid realized that Smiths skill set was perfect for the offense he wanted to run.

So all Pro Bowl QB's are created equal? Is that the argument here??

Alex Smith = Matt Cassel = Elvis Grbac = Peyton Manning??

It could be that Smith is a game managing pussy that literally nobody wanted on this board or in general before last February. But then he gets an arrowhead on the side of his helmet, and Chiefs fans are ALL IN ON ALEX.

Maybe this Smith thing will shake out and he'll have a fantastic year to go along with a pretty solid second half of last year. I'm not holding my breath.

And if he's turning up his nose at $17m/per, then he can eat the heartiest of dick salads.

Do you know what the word "literally" means? There were a lot of us that were happy he was traded for, so you are wrong that "literally nobody" wanted him.
