Unless you see one for yourself. Then it's ok to believe.

Even if you've spent most of your life belittling and ridiculing those who've said they've witnessed one...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I was out raccoon hunting one night, and saw something that I was completely convinced was alien. Several lights moving slowly. I knew it wasn't any manmade airplane/blimp/helicopter. I witnessed something, and I was convinced it was from another planet.

Until I found out otherwise, and found out that I had mistakenly misidentified it. But up until the point I was shown the truth, I was 100% convinced it was extraterrestrial. My eyewitness account was completely wrong. It turned out to be a manmade spacecraft breaking up in the atmosphere.

Had I not found out days later about the truth, I would still to this day believe I saw something alien. Eyewitness accounts are terribly unreliable. Even your own.....

Nope, it was definitely aliens. The breaking up spacecraft story was planted by the government.

If the government isn't making aircraft to look like "ufo's" they're incredibly stupid.

Just think about what people do when they think they see a UFO. The greatest percentage of people run inside and grab a camera or video recording device. They try and get it on film.

Or they keep their mouth shut and don't say a word.

Either response would be greatly appreciated by anyone piloting a military aircraft in hostile territory...

If I ever see a light in the sky and immediately start claiming that it's definitive proof that we have been visited by aliens from another planet, feel free to belittle me and ridicule me all you want. I would deserve it.

Now if somebody were to report seeing something MORE than a light in the sky, that would be a different matter altogether. If somebody said "Hey, I saw the spaceship! I saw the aliens!", it's an entirely different conversation. Then it would be all about details and credibility, not leaping to a fantastic and far-fetched conclusion.

What if the aliens' manifestation on earth is just a light in the sky? That would pretty much blow your otherwise strong decision rules.

I've seen a literal ship, twice.

The last one was below treetop level and close enough that I could have quite easily hit it with a rock.

the more and more i watch documentaries, the less and less i believe. Do i think there is other life in our universe? absolutely, but i'm not sure they have made it to earth. I could be wrong, who knows.

How about the Creed stance. Or maybe one of these.

I'm wondering if this would be a good poll now. Would you take an alien anal probe in exchange for a tour of the ship and a group photo? I bet most thoughtful people would do it.

Only if the probe is made of inorganic material. No living tissue.
