Mavericks Hockey?
Mrs. Blowfish works for the City of Independence. They gave her a couple of free KC Mavericks tickets for tonight. I usually go to a game about once a year or every other year. Do any of you guys go? Is the level of hockey better since the Mav's got an NHL affiliation? I'm not a big hockey fan, but my sister shares season tickets for the Blues in St. Louis. It's her favorite sport.

We go a couple of times a year....good time. We don't go enough that i can speak to the level of hockey...but it's a good time.

They do however, need more day games...

Haven't been in years, but it was terrible back then, unless you just wanted to watch the fights (and there were a lot of them).... I'd drive to Omaha several times a year to watch the UNO Mavericks instead of going to MO Mavs games.

I've ended my ban against the Missouri Mavericks now that they've changed their named to the KANSAS city Mavericks. In fact, plan on going to a game this weekend.

Mavs won 3-1. It was a pretty well played game. It was light attendance, but it was a Tuesday night game. On Saturday they're giving away bobble heads of Mac the Mascot. We had center ice seats, just about four rows above the penalty box. I think the NFL should have a penalty box. "Now you just sit there, young man, and think about what you did wrong..."

Tonight was not a well played game. Mavericks lost 3-2. Two of those three were low speed rollers that the goalie absolutely should have saved....the other goal was knocked in the Mavericks net by their own player. Weak.
