Articles today on Ned have been hilarious. They are essentially saying: "we give up. Ned Yost is a magical warlock."

look, I was pretty irritated about Finnegan last night. Of course, kid is nails...but that should have been Wade Davis right then and there.

But Ned was money. He was right, I was wrong. I didn't want to see the kid in that spot, but he was awesome.

In Ned I trust.

It was a bunch of lefties and the bottom of the order. Why in the hell burn Wade Davis for them?

He's quite a hitter. I wouldn't mind KC taking a run at him next year as our next DH, honestly.
I'll bet the Royals go away from a full time DH next year. They might rotate it around to give guys some rest.

with that all being subject to change in case Guthrie gets into any trouble at all

and by at all, I mean, if 2 people get on base in the first inning, his ass is out for one of the beasts and we'll worry about it later by giving a clean inning to Vargas or Finnegan or Duffy etc

you have to admit- his moves have paid off despite himself. I thought it was brilliant to move Cain over and have Dyson take center-how many great catches did they make?

Ned

Wears number 3 due to his friendship and respect for Dale Sr.

Hunts with Jeff Foxworthy in the off season.

Hobbies include - Taxidermy.

Maybe we have underestimated this country boy?
