Bungie's Destiny Will be Revealed in 5 Days

Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.

Sunbreaker - Titan

Grenades:

Fusion - An explosive grenade that causes bonus damage when attached to its target

Match - Grenade explosion sends forward a burning line of fire

Incendiary - An explosive grenade that catches enemies on fire, causing additional DoT

Lift:

Increased Height

Increased Control

Catapult

Hammer of Sol (Super):

Summon a flaming hammer and wreak destruction upon your enemies

High Noon - The higher your health, the more Hammers you can throw and the bigger their impact

Suncharge - Press R1 to hurl yourself forward, crushing enemies that are close

Conflagration - Ingnite the world, creating Sunspots where your Hammer of Sol impacts

Sunstrike (Melee):

Ignite your enemies with a heavy strike

Melting Point - Burn away your target's defenses. Target takes more damage from both you and your allies

Fulminator - Your Sunstrike melee releases a Solar explosion on hit, igniting enemies within the blast. Kills create a Sunspot around you

Stoke The Forge - Natively reduces the cooldown of your Sunstrike melee. Getting a killing blow with Sunstrike instantly recharges it

Bonus Tree 1:

Fleetfire - Enemies brought down by your fire grant you bonus agility and reload speed for a short time. Stacks up to 3 times

Tempering - Grenade and Melee abilities cool down faster when Hammer of Sol is fully charged

Wreathed In Flames - Hammer of Sol lasts longer and you gain an overshield while standing near a Sunspot

Bonus Tree 2:

Flameseeker - Your Hammer of Sol will alter its flight path to seek out your enemies

Cauterize - Enemies brought down by your fire regenerate your health

Wildfire - Enemies brought down your hammer explode, cathing other nearby enemies on fire

still frustrated that the people that have been playing the entire first year aren't going to get any of the Collectors Edition stuff without rebuying the game and both expansions all over again. The least they could have done was made it accessible by buying a Taking King collectors edition instead of just a Destiny Collectors edition.

At first I was pissed then I realized that this game re-invigorated my love of gaming and I spent damn close to 1000 hours on it so far. Most games that cost $65 Ill play for a week or two and never touch again ($65 / 336 hrs = $.19 hour I play). Im assuming the majority of us on here played since alpha and got both expansions, we're all probably close to or over 500 hours invested, low end. With this in mind, the need to pay another 80 for the new stuff and additional content which will likely keep me going another 500 hours the the cost per hour is relatively the same ($180/1000 hrs = $.18 hour of play).

My oldest brother, who was a huge Halo single player fan as well as a Quake multiplayer fan, has also gotten consumed by this game.

I've yet to play it.
