CP's favorite NBA team

I'm just interested in what's your favorite NBA team, if you have any! How did you choose this team if you're not from the area?

My dad ran the LA marathon a lot. I distinctly remember first aid guys on bikes that would rub vasoline on any inner thighs that wanted it. I used to wonder how exactly you get that job.

I've run 57 half-marathons now and have never seen that. I think those guys may have been freelancing.

I gave up on the NBA after the Kings left. Then after Jordan, Magic and Bird retired, just didn't care anymore.

I watch Mizzou in the SEC and K-State in the Big 12. Don't really care who wins in the NBA. Also their draft procedure is really screwed up.

I was a huge KC Kings fan. Went to a ton of games as a kid (Nate, Sam, "Scotty with a Rainbow"). Since then I really don't have a team, but I do keep track of Jayhawks in the league.

Orlando Magic. I was a kid & Penny Hardaway just spoke to me. He was who I liked watching the most, so I've been following the Magic ever since.

You've never said anything nice about me. You even called my mother a whore.

I grew up Mormon, but left the church out of high school. My refusal to go on a mission was the main reason for this. I've spoke to my parents maybe 3 times in 4 years since.

Now, back to the topic!

I was wondering if there was another Magic fan here. You should put them in your string of team logos in your sig.

There's a size restriction on sigs, and BoneKrusher (the poster who made it)'s sig template has room for 6 teams maximum.

The Magic are about the 7th or 8th team I care most about; they just miss that 6-team cutoff along with Tottenham Hotspur.

I like the NBA better than NCAA but I'd find it hard to just root for one team. You get a couple of turds on a roster and it can ruin a team for quite a while. Makes it no fun to root for them.
