Richardson is making $8M this year and it looks like the Chiefs won't even be able to sign their entire draft class without moving some money around. And with Howard/Bailey/Jones I just don't see a huge need for Richardson.

Doubtful.
On another note I'm betting Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch get traded to the raiders soon |

Quote:
Richardson was a MASSIVE shithead at Mizzou. I mean just a monumental prick. Mizzou had a game left to make a bowl game in his final year there and Pinkel suspended him for missing study hall or something. He told him he could come out early, do some drills and go through some excercises to have the suspension lifted. He refused, let the suspension stand, Mizzou got upset and missed a bowl because of it. He was a flake during his recruiting. He was a stop/start player when he was on the field. He's a me-first player all the way and has been every step of his career. I had no interest in the guy coming into the draft because he's just an asshole. His talent has never been in question but he has as bad an attitude as anyone you'll ever see.

Honestly, he's one stupid decision away from a year long suspension. And stupid decisions come easy for a guy who got caught driving 140 miles an hour in St.Charles with a 12 year old in the car.

Lol the Raiders can't afford to pay Sherman when they have to pay Carr, Mack, and Cooper soon. Not to mention all the money they have invested in their two starting corners.

The Raiders have 30 million in cap room right now and SEVENTY SEVEN going into next season. They can definitely afford to pay Sherman for one season, and probably two. Even if they can't, they can easily pay him this year and cut him next and lose next to nothing.

They're easily going to be able to keep their guys, but they are finally to the point where they aren't going to get a marquee free agent every year. Carr is going to get 23-25 a year. Mack will get close to 20, and Cooper over 15

The only name I'm really still interested in is Gerald Hodges. Zach Brown was considered a bigger name and signed a year deal with the redskins for 4.5. It would be huge if we could somehow land him before the draft and go into draft weekend with no glaring holes

Yea except the Seahawks want a 1st and 3rd/4th for Sherman. Nobody is doing that for a one or two year rental
