I'm NOT worried about Jacksonville anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if they win 2 or 3 of their remaining games. They play some cupcakes and they looked pretty good with Henne in there.
The whole thing is gonna hinge on the Cleveland game. |

Cleveland wont take a QB, nor will Carolina. I would say Jax would take Geno if they finish above us OR even worse, trade the pick away to someone desperate for a QB that is willing to give up a Washington/RGIII like package. If Jax finishes one overall, what would the board be comfortable giving up to make SURE that we get the QB we want?

However, Khan has already stated that he wanted Tebow and there were trade rumors circulating prior to the deadline. They guy wants a QB. But you can't ignore their horrific pass rush. It's abyssmal. They are going to face a tough choice. The thing I would be most worried about is Jacksonville finishing ahead of the Chiefs for the top draft spot then trading down to either the Jets or Raiders. I could see a Tebow and picks thing quite easily between Jacksonville and NYJ and the Jets taking Geno Smith. Sanchez is on par with Cassel in terms of being the worst QB in the league at this point. Jets fans are really hating him. Raiders have to be in the market as well. Palmer is done. |

If "draft one till you get the guy" is the way to go, the team could spend quite a bit before they hit. I realize they can't go anywhere but up at this point, but man, there are just so many holes to fill. Isn't there usually one or more drafted QB per year that just doesn't make it? I just think no matter what they do, the pick must be a stud, the man, whatever you call him, for 10 years or so. I'm still not convinced the "franchise guy @ QB" is there this year.

I think Shaub is a franchise guy if he stays healthy. I've thought that since 2010. |
