I saw it at the biggest screen the new Cinetopia in Overland Park has. It was awesome.

yeah, if that is the case I think you are making a wise decision for yourself. Comic fans love most of those movies.

Just got back. Loved it. It turned out to be light on the action, but still a fantastic movie. They've reset the continuity to just about as close to "normal" as they can possibly get.

This was an awesome movie, though I found the future scenes to be way more exciting and interesting. What a great way to fix the mess of the X-Men movie franchise. I thought they were going to create an excuse to reboot and recast everyone -- I hope this still is the case and that last scene was just a tip-of-the-hat for all the old actors and movies. I guess they can still do movies about stories that take place before Wolverine "comes back."
Also once again Marvel beats DC to the punch by getting their knock off characters on the big screen before DC does. Hawkeye before Green Arrow, Quicksilver before Flash and eventually Ant Man before The Atom and Apocalypse before Darkseid.. Quote:
They don't explain it, no real need to. Most mutants discover they have a secondary power (or effect) later in life. I think the precedent for this is Morrison's New X-Men and in the movies, Emma Frost is shown to have telekinesis + diamond skin in First Class (this rendition of her is also pulled out of New X-Men as well so it's more than likely that they're rolling with this logic).

‘X-Men: First Class’ Sequel Titled ‘Days of Future Past’?
I never caught it if they did.
Seems like a pretty significant power boost for a secondary character. She could just use that power every time something goes wrong from now on.. |

I think it was Singer who basically came out and said that they gave her that as a secondary mutation because the plot required it. I have no problem with this.
