Electronics How much can I sell a BRAND NEW 5s for?

Ok so my sister and I upgraded to two GS4s during a BOGO promotion and apparently that only eats up 1 upgrade. With the iPhone 6 being released, with an upgrade I can purchase a brand new 16 GB iPhone 5s for $100. Now, I'd never use an iPhone but the resale value of these things are like gold. So I'm looking to turn my upgrade into a quick profit. What can I expect out of a brand new, never been open, including a SIM card, iPhone 5s? Also, I can just ship this phone to the buyer and they'll have no issues activating it on their line, correct?

How do I unlock it? Couldn't someone just buy it and unlock it themselves?

Take it to an AT&T store, or w/e carrier its on. If it's Verizon it's already unlocked, unless I'm mistaken.

They'll unlock it.

Depends on what you can get for the phone. Now that AT&T reduces your bill to an off contract price once your phone is past 2 years old it might make sense, not sure how other companies are handling their contracts. They'll make $360 off of the extra $15 a month + the cost of the phone. So if you can get more for the phone on resale then it might be worth it, but the amount you are talking about is probably so small it doesn't provide any real gain. You might even come out at break even after eBay and Paypal take their cut.

I just used an upgrade a week ago that locked me into two more years. Why not use the free upgrade to use towards my bill if I can make $400?
