Tips on how to Speed, I wanna go fast.

I'm going to start going to Mayetta KS (just north of Topeka) once a week or so for some stuff. The highways there are pretty desolate, and going 90mph instead of 74 mph could lower my commute by almost a half an hour.

Any tips or scanners to use to avoid or locate the police using radar? With todays technologies & up to the minute information is it possible to significantly lower your risk of getting a ticket?

I usually drive like an old man, and whenever I do speed I get nailed. But then I see these people going 20 mph faster than me that never seem to get any tickets. Wondering if there is a trick I'm missing out on

Your speedometer is probably lying to you at that speed. Have you compared it to a GPS?

1500 for a motorcycle or small car, 4500 or better for larger trucks or semis. I won't disagree.
That may be in DFW but that's not the norm everywhere.

Why the insistence on referring to speeding prevention as revenue generation?

Because it is done for revenue generation in many municipalities.

In Fort Worth, you can always tell when revenue is down because the Police Chief gets called into city council to explain why ticket revenue is down. Within the week, you see the traffic units out in full force.

It happens with KCPD as well (although, they're not as transparent about it as Fort Worth).

Are the police forcing anyone to speed? If there weren't complete dipshits out there like the OP of this thread who decide they want to intentionally drive well above the speed limit because they are way too busy to spend a little extra time on the road, it wouldn't matter how many traffic units were out on the streets.

Revenue generation? How about just take responsibility for your actions and if you get caught speeding it's your own fault.

And we've identified the "traffic cops" on CP. I bet both of you are the type of assholes that drive the speed limit in the fast lane to slow people down.

Radar jammers are FCC territory and not even available to purchase.

Laser gun jammers are FDA territory and available but illegal in almost every state. Typically when you get caught using one, you're automatically assumed to be speeding.

Somebody doesn't understand the term "speed limit" yet tries to use them in a sentence intelligently

If you're going 90, I wouldn't be riding your ass. If you're driving the speed limit in the passing lane, then yea, I'm right behind you.

No nickelback though. They suck more than you as a 1.1 draft pick.
