Ok, help me out. 12 team league. Had the draft Sunday...ended up with 1st overall pick (selected Rodgers) and still ended up with hella-depth. Problem is, I don't know what to do with it right now.

The positions that need filled:

QB
RB1
RB2
WR1
WR2
RB/WR
K
TEAM DEF/ST
TE
IDP
IDP
IDP

Here is my roster:

QB: Aaron Rodgers, Jake Locker
WR: Roddy White, Marques Colston, Miles Austin, Kendall Wright
RB: DeMarco Murray, Fred Jackson, Kevin Smith, Peyton Hillis, David Wilson, Felix Jones
TE: Coby Fleener, Dallas Clark
K: David Akers
Team Def/ST: Seattle and Donkeys
IDP: Sean Lee
IDP: Stephen Tulloch
IDP: Paul Posluszny
IDP: Chad Greenway

These are the positions that I have completely made up my mind in terms of the starters:

QB: Rodgers
RB1: DeMarco Murray
RB2: Fred Jackson
WR1: Roddy White
WR2: ?
WR/RB: ?
TE: Coby Fleener
K: David Akers
Team Def/ST: Seattle
IDP: Sean Lee
IDP: Stephen Tulloch
IDP: Chad Greenway

I need help with the WR2 and RB/WR spots. Can anyone help me? My options for WR2 are Austin, Colston and Wright. I think Wright has potential, especially with Britt missing this week, but I'm going to be patient with him. So that spot is pretty much down to Austin and Colston. Most weeks, I'd start Colston, but I like Austin's match up better (vs. Giants, Colston is vs. Redskins). BUT Austin has a hammy issue. Who do I start?

Then there is the WR/RB spot. My options are Peyton Hillis vs. Falcons, Kevin Smith vs. Rams, Colston/Austin, Kendall Wright vs. Patriots, Felix Jones vs. Giants. I think Smith, Colston/Austin and Hillis will be great options. I think Wright may have potential too, but like I said, I am not gambling with him yet. Who do I plug in to that spot? I watched a Yahoo Fantasy video that listed the 3 "must start" players of week 1.....Kevin Smith was 1 of the 3. Do I start him, or do I start someone else? Please help.... thanks in advance!

I'm in a 10 team league, I drafted two defenses, SF & Pittsburgh. I coulda just drafted more depth of RB's and WR and picked up Seattle via waivers. I'm such a FFL noob

I have an opportunity to trade for either AP or MJD.

I would have to give up Jennings/Greene for either AP/MJD + Mike Williams (TB).

What do you guys think? AP? MJD? Neither?

Me personally, I'd rather trade for MJD.

Michael Bush or Reggie Bush?

Michael, yes. Reggie would give me pause.

I'm thinking about selling high on Murray. Am I crazy? If so, someone talk me off the ledge.

He had a great game don't get me wrong, but he looked slower than last year to me and doesn't have a burst. If he doesn't look like he has much pop now, in week 1, then what's going to happen once week 10 hits?

He also runs high and constantly looks for contact at the end of runs, which leads to injuries. I love it as a football fan but as a fantasy owner, I'm not crazy about that. I don't know I just think I can get a lot for him now or in the next few weeks and it might be worth it to sell high.

McFadden, Martin, K. Smith and Hillis are my other backs so I have solid depth but need a 2nd WR to pair with Julio.

Step away from the ledge. The Cowboys seem committed to Murray and to ONLY run Murray. Smith is going to be more and more in a time-share as the year goes along and who really knows what you have in Martin, and McFadden is injury prone. Give Murray another couple weeks before you jump to any conclusions.

I like your theory (other than Calvin, I'm betting you could have your pick of WRs in exchange for Murray), but the rest of your RBs are unknowns or huge injury risks. If you go that route, hopefully you have room on your bench to store some handcuffs.

You guys are probably right. Should probably sit on him for a few weeks but if he starts hinting at slowing down just a bit, then I think I'm going to make a move. Just hard to be patient sometimes, but it is probably the right thing to do in this situation.

Nice, glad it makes sense to someone else. Agreed with your roster recommendations if I do go through with it. It's a 12 team league and I have 5 solid backs so there are MANY other teams that are really hurting bad at running back, due to it being so shallow.

Maybe I should let it play out for a week or two and hopefully allow my backups to gain some value to others and/or prove their worth to me. Hopefully my league-mates RB starters get off to bad starts and they panic. I'm pretty much the only guy in the league who would probably consider trading a back.

Matt Stafford is really f***ing me over today. 0 TDs and 3 INTs so far. And to make it worse, I've got RGIII on the bench and he's tearing it up.

I felt the same way about Vick and DeAngelo Williams in a league.
