Also, if you have a smart phone consider an app like Tunein Radio. You can listen to just about any radio station that streams over the internet. You can also look at the local stations for the area you're in to get genre and sometimes specific song information about what they play.

Dude, you are SO not lying, I've never heard another radio station like it.
I seriously heard it all... bluegrass, punk, Bob Dylan, all kinds of stuff from the 30's-40's-50's, alternative rock, old country, alt country, real deal blues from the 40's-50's, old school r&b, ultra-obscure 70's stuff... I mean, you name it and they pretty much play it. Its frankly astonishing to me that a station like this even exists in todays corporate world, and it apparently does very well because the signal followed me 60+ miles back into Illinois. Heres the kind of diversity I'm talking about, this came on while I was rolling down the interstate, and let me tell you I've never felt more like a Gin-U-Wine Trucker than I did while blasting this down the road Awesome, REAL country... The very next song was this... That's EXACTLY the kind of thing I was hoping for, I'm in love with KDHX. All of the other suggestions are greatly appreciated and I WILL be checking them out, thanks to all of you who chimed in. |
