What's the worst job you ever had?

Mine was hauling small square bales of hay. It is hot, often over 100 degrees in the barn. You have to wear a long sleeved shirt or your arms will get bloodied. And it is damn hard work. Bales of alfalfa can weigh up to 90 pounds. No way I could do it today.

Zarda BBQ - Blue Springs location.

Note - I have too bailed some hay at my great grandfather's farm back in the day......not fun, that shit sucks, talk about some hard work.

Another was I used to work at the marina at Lake Jacomo. Around this time of year was when we would winter-ize the motors on the pontoon rentals and store them up in the shed. a 40HP outboard motor is ****ing heavy and it's odd because its on a swivel for when it turns and it's very top heavy. Had to unbolt them in areas you couldnt reach and it was on a boat which was in the water so you would be in an awkward position to begin with trying to lift them and then you haul them up to a garage that was on shore. Pain in the ass. The overall job at the Marina was the funnest job of my life......but everyone would dread this time of year when we would close up shop for the rental season.

McDonalds. Had to empty/scrape clean the pickle buckets that were filled with old grease from the griddle. They wanted to reuse the buckets. Finished my shift and never went back.

I worked at the same marina many years ago. It was just a summer job since I was still in high school, so we never had to do what you described. I also thought it was one of the most fun jobs I ever had. When did you work there? I was there in the late '70s.

My worse job was at Schneider Bailey in midtown. They sold aftermarket AC systems for cars. The owner was a total dick.

worked at Jacomo from 1999-2002

It was a fun job because its on a lake, boats, girls in bikinis, drunks coming back giving you the rest of their beer for us to take home and us putting it in the cooler in the shed. And the entire staff were all of my closest friends growing up. Had pontoon parties after work and would stay out at night on the lake. couldnt have had a better 4 summers.

I worked at the Blue Springs Zarda when I was in high school. I actually went to school Donald Zarda.

It was an ok job, but I quit because I could not get the BBQ smell out of my clothes, my car, off my skin, etc.

When I was in high school I was involved in a fundraiser once hanging Taco John coupons on the doors of houses within a few mile radius of one of their locations.

We had the buddy system working, so this other guy and me (both suburban white kids) ended up in a really nasty neighborhood in KCK. We decided to bolt after hearing "what are their kind doing here" a couple of times then hearing what we assumed was a gun racking behind a door.

I was a furniture delivery guy for a day back in high school. We drove around all day in 100 degree heat and dragged couches, dressers, matresses, and beds to people's houses. The guy driving the truck wouldn't stop so I could eat something (I am hypoglycemic and I crash every now and then) and get some water. We stopped at one crazy cat lady's hosue and it stunk so bad that we could smell it from the OUTSIDE of the house. I could barely carry the couch through the house because I couldn't breathe because of the nasty ass cat stench. Also, that day I learned that people are incredibly rude to delivery guys.

I never went back. $6 an hour. Gay.
