Would Arrowhead's Toys in the Attic sell today?

Was bored when I got home and wanted to listen to some music. So I was perusing and saw Arrowsmith's Toys in the Attic amonst the multitudes of CD's. It's been a long time since I listened to this particular album. But I think it still holds up. Yeah it's Bronco week. **** off. Just wondering.Remember I was bored. And maybe feeling a little old.

Your probably right.

I will say though, when i introduce my kids to this type of music they end up liking it. Good music is timeless.

One of the greatest rock albums ever.

Very well recorded and mastered, capturing a great band at their absolute pinnacle.

Was listening to it last night actually and thinking about how ****ing terrific it was/is. (Got the Sony Mastersound Gold CD that I transferred over to the computer via FLAC, but it's also available on the Hi-Rez formats (24/192) via the several sites doing those hi-rez downloads.)

Also, if you are interested, here is the link to the Dynamic Range Database. Aerosmith holds up pretty well in terms of having their albums not compressed to hell.

I remember watching a documentary about them years and years ago and they described that after their initial booming success, having to go back to playing 500-1000 seat venues was just the worst thing. They described it like all their mothers died at the same time or something. Pussies. Overrated.

Angel is a great ****ing power ballad though.

I'm also bored

Probably because it wouldn't get any promotional push. Rock has to establish itself again. It's not because there isn't any good music. It's out there.

Not true at all.

Indy rock is absolutely phenomenal right now. Maybe even better than it's initial early 80's phase.

Alt country is terrific right now as well.

There is some really good music out there right now. I have to force myself away from Bandcamp as it's absolutely jammed with terrific stuff and their search engine is freaking insane good right now. (Search for genre in specific cities, etc.)

The only thing that you are not really getting in music right now is the great arena rock stuff of the 70's, but that's not an indictment of the music industry/culture being crap.

Also, Steven Tyler looks like he's prepping to play "Auschwitz survivor # 3" in an upcoming film. Dude looks awful these days.

Great music is easy as **** to discover these days if you're hooked into the right places. Reddit with the small music subreddits are booming with activity and new shit to discover every day.
