Why little to no subs at the end of the game?
I'm all happy to score 50, have Hunt go over 100 and Mahomes throw for over 400 but this was a PERFECT game to put in the back ups to protect our starters and assess what we have as depth. We wre up by 38 points.
Why the hell would you NOT put in Henne and other back ups? Andy Reid sucks at clock management and I think he sucks at ending a game with starters. What says you? |

You think any of those guys wanted to come out? They were having way too much fun.

I think this is it. Andy knows how much fun these guys are having right now, and while it worries me, as long as they're not taking big risks in their playcalling, I'm generally OK with it.

Ware was getting the carries at the end of the game instead of Hunt. But I was surprised to see Mahomes stay out there.

Would you rather have Pat throwing left handed or Alex throwing with whatever?

I don't pay attention to stats too much but I feel like the Chiefs sub players in games very early.
I see guys like Zombo playing tonight. |

A. It's not as common as some of you seem to think for starters to come out of an NFL game. At worst, maybe PMII played one series to many but it's his team and he probably wants to be out there.
B. With this team's history of epic meltdowns with leads, I wouldn't be surprised if Andy is trying to develop a culture of playing til the final whistle. Again, this is what championship teams do. Brady plays the whole game always out there. Goff and Gurley played long after that games was out of hand today. Backups played the last 2 minutes. |

Yeah and I certainly get that. I'm sure it's a thin line of a balance on when to pull guys and when to let them continue to work on game situations which can really only occur in a game.
