You'll have to excuse me if I note that the team had scouted Brady and drafted him, that it kept him as a 4th QB, and that it kept him in as the starter despite having a $100 million dollar QB in front of him before injury. The argument that they got lucky is stupid. Every pick in the draft is an educated guess, and every pick except #1 overall is a product of what teams in front do with their picks.

It's the second longest run of elite play in the Super Bowl era, and they've been to the SB in about half of Brady's starting seasons, so I don't really worry about it being a "Geritol phase". I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
