Hardcore. Imagine getting kicked in the balls 4 times, go through the Music City Miracle, then have nothing, absolutely no hope for your team doing anything for 2 entire decades. I feel bad for bitching about Pioli around him. |

Actually, I can see as a GM taking a 1st round pick in next years draft over multiple picks in this years draft. If you don't want one of the better QBs this year but really have your eye on one or more QBs next year then you need all the ammunition you can get to move up if you have to.

I'd have probably sniped Belichick by now. But how do you go from Montezuma to rooting for Upstate New York?

Heard on the radio they fired their entire scouting staff, too.
Doubt it was a surprise to anyone involved. Actually probably not the first time this has happened. At least as far as the scouting staff goes, but wouldn't be surprised if GMs have been let go like this before, as well, to not introduce even more chaos into the draft process. |

Yep, Bill Polian, who promptly went to Carolina as their 1st gm and had them in the playoffs very fast, then went to Indy and built the Manning/Harrison/Edgerrin James Colts.

This whole thing is a matter of 'right spot/right time' for the Chiefs. As much as we missed out on having #1 pick the year after Andrew Luck, this is the make up Karma.

Bills owner was angered when learning that next years first rounder from the Chiefs was conditional.....conditional e owner himself had a 10" flaccid pickle upon exiting the ice tub.

Mahomes is destroying the rest of the AFC already. I like it.
