Rams back to LA

Just talking to my girlfriend's boss (former player) and he says the Rams are headed back to LA, and that it's 'pretty much a done deal.'

Fwiw.

For some people the whole education thing is just not important. They are ignorant and proud of it.

I'm willing to bet you know that answer, and yes, that team usually sucked... but they also had some high points with the likes of Jim Hart, Mel Gray etc.

But decent or suck, St. Louis football "fans" stayed away in droves just like they do now... its a baseball town, period... no matter what a die hard (God bless him) like Rams Fan thinks.

Dan Dierdorf too.

Yeah St Louis just pretty much sucks, period.

Sorry...it's the truth.

Good baseball town...but it sucks going downtown to games.

I can think of 100 American cities that I would rather visit or live in.

Cant forget Big Dan, he might be their only HOFer... I'll never forget reading Hollywood Hendersons book, written when he was still full of himself, and he described being completely dismissive of the whole team, they ALL sucked in his mind.

At the end of the game, which Dallas won iirc, he felt compelled to chase Dierdorf down in the players tunnel just to meet him... he said the man kicked his ass all game long and yet he called Dan "Mr. Dierdorf" upon meeting him, even though he'd never given that kind of respect to any other player.

And yes, having lived in St. Louis for a short time, I'd never do it again, at the same time, I'd never live in any city again... love to visit the city, love to go home when I'm done.

Yeah I guess Hollywood Henderson was a real piece of dogshit, but I guess he's turned his life around.

According to his testimonial videos, at least

Yeah I'm done with living in the city, period. But St Louis is a cut below...it's probably worse than Detroit.

He's totally changed, I think it was during the Steelers last SB when they did a story about him and Bradshaw getting together to talk about the whole "cat" thing for the first time... he was a totally different guy, very apologetic and humble.

It was one of the more memorable pre-game hype pieces I can remember, both guys were genuinely touched by the others emotions.

When 65% of your seasons have been losing seasons, only 8 playoff seasons in nearly 48 years of football. That is a lot of suck. That's why the fans don't show up.
