Well? Go ahead. Talk about Pittsburgh. I don't like our chances. But we shall see.

Chargers are no where near as balanced as the Steelers on offense. That balance is what scares me.

Why do people keep saying that?

Our offense has been terrible. Our defense doesn't usually play like pussies. In fact, our second half defense this year has been mostly excellent.

I actually like our offense in this game. I think we could hang as much as 30 on them.

They could legitimately hang 50 on us, though. That's as complete a offense as the AFC has right now.

Steelers are 3 point favorites in Vegas. I'm not sure why half the board thinks they are unbeatable.

1. They have an excellent run game.

2. Antonio Brown is arguably the best WR in the NFL right now.

3. Sean Smith and Phillip Gaines could be out.

Reid said Sean Smith had leg cramps today - he's fine. Don't know about Gaines though.

And even with all 3 of those things listed, they are still only a 3 point favorite. I'll be interested to see which side the money goes towards this week.

You are higher than giraffe pussy if you believe "they have a legitimate shot at hanging 50 on us" we have barely given that up in our worst two games combined.

The Steelers are 6-2 over their last 8 games. The wins and losses don't seem to show a real pattern.

Wins - Texans, Colts, Ravens, Titans, Bengals, Falcons
Losses - Jets, Saints

The rookie receiver, Bryant, seems to be part of what's really opened up that team's offense. He gives the Steelers a 3rd WR threat, to go along with Brown and Wheaton at WR, Miller at TE, and Bell at RB. The Steelers were averaging under 21 ppg without him. Since he's been in the lineup, they're averaging more than 33 ppg. Unless they have a poor day, they should be able to really put a lot of pressure on the Chiefs' defense.

They've also gotten Shazier back, which helps their defense.

It's a Jekyll and Hyde team, but there's been a lot more of Jekyll than Hyde, of late.

Yeah, so complete, they put up a whopping 27 points on the Falcons. One of those TDs was an INT return.

The Falcons have a semblence of a run defense.

This defense has been so wounded by losing key run defenders that it has become the worst run defense I've seen on a Chiefs defense.

That includes the Vermeil days and the very worst of Herm. This run defense is hopeless.

Reid needs to make sure that everyone understands that these last two games are playoff games. Road games are always tough, offense and defense need to bring their A game or it's over... that means Sutton/Reid's playcalling as well. Gotta go all out and not hold anything back in the playbook.

Everyone likes bitching about the run D.

Sure, it's bad. But how many games has it directly led to a loss?
