There are jobs up the wazoo here in the Wash DC metro area. You would be employed in a week. Cost of living is VERY high and so is traffic but great area for making money. Northern VA and Southern MD and DC booming more than anywhere.

I'm not in a desert. I can go hiking, skiing, fishing, camping, hunting etc.
