Kelces first call with Andy Reid

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/c...cowherd-013117

I love stories like these. When you see how coaches really work behind the scenes. We see so much of the soft side of Andy Reid. This was a side that doesn't surprise me, but it still was not was I was expecting.

That's why he puts clown shoes on most coaches.

If only he had a QB.........

Reid's a pretty remarkable teacher and leader. The more you read about him (especially the longform style pieces) the more you see how great his interpersonal communication and management skills are.

We're in great hands with that guy, I just wish he'd find himself a new QB.
Thank you for reading my mind and posting this exact post for me.

One of Reid's strongest attributes has always been his relationship with personal on all levels. When living in PA I heard plenty of Eagles talk and it's pretty much the same we're hearing now. Same with the weaknesses. It's eerily similar.

If Reid would move on from Alex and give up play calling he'd be the second best coach in the league. Unfortunately he's holding himself and the team back with his stubbornness.

On a serious note, Andy is obviously a good leader. Just needs a bit better game management

This is where Hunt should step in, but he's not tough enough.

The play calling is generally fine. Often times it's actually pretty good.

Playcalling is sharp. It's the situational playcalling that leaves a lot to be desired.

People complain about sideways passes and the lack of running in situational spots but can Reid really be blamed?

Sideways passes play to our team's strengths and our OL is weak in the middle. I'd say that's just Reid trying to stay one step ahead of the opposition.

It's also one of those situations where he looks like a genius when it works but gets crucified when it doesn't.
