I certainly would love for that to be the case if we end up with him, but I fear it won't be. Especially if we give up a 3rd for him, I really would be skeptical that we would then give up a 2nd for another QB, let alone a first.

Depends what they give up for him. If it's like a 4 or 5, yeah, probably going the Flynn route or more chance they go that way.


If it's a 2 or 3 with a comp pick? Yeah, he's your starter.

Much better way of presenting the argument...and while I do see the logic (people do need to be held accountable for actions) ...I sincerely doubt they give a new regime, and QB only one season.

I think it is a dumb idea that wont happen (I hope so), but if it does:

1) we wont win a playoff game next seasom

2) we realistically shouldn't expect to

3) we should evaluate the performances of everyone as they happen instead of saying, you have 1 season to win playoff games (which we havent done in 20 years)
