Yeah, he slowed down or he'd have at least been in position to defend the int. Still shouldn't have ever been thrown.

That was fantastic to see and why you feel like you always have a chance with Mahomes and Hill in there.

And the pick wasn't anyone's fault but Mahomes. It was just terrible from the snap. Everybody on the falcons team knew where the ball was going and the throw made it even worse.

No he didn’t. Even Reid said he needs to go to the ball instead of standing still.

It was still a poor decision though.

Eh, you really have to grade the entire team. To be honest, throw out the 70 yard bomb and Mahomes was not impressive. I'm fine with that because I expect "rookie" like issues with him this year.

The starters, however, get a D+ from me.

That's the great thing about PMII The long range capability will always factor in.

I'd put his game at about b+. That pick wasnt great, but you gotta think he just wanted to try and get watkins involved. All you need to do there is hold the safety with your eyes. Hes normally good at that so im not concerned. Everything else was perfect. He's such a weapon if you give him time. The throws to Kelce were also pin point accurate. I think when you get Hunt involved more in the regular season its gonna be almost impossible for defenses to hold us at every level. Pat can make throws that maybe 3 other guys in the league can make. It opens up the entire field. Something we havent had... maybe ever.

Mahomes started 6-6 and would have been 7-7 with a td if it wasn't for that stupid lineup penalty.

He made one mistake. Other than that he looked pretty damn good.

ONe play doesn't negate the entire body of work. It was really the only good moment of the half.

Exactly.

I think some people view ints and catastrophic cause they were for Smith and frankly didnt happen very often cause he didnt take chances. Bad with the good.

He was 6/6 on a drive that he threw a TD but called back for illegal alignment or some bullshit but he was money on that drive and that throw to Kelce for a first down how can you not be impressed?

No it wasnt. He went 6/6 and had a touchdown that was wiped off. Those moments weren't good in your book? Or are 70 yard touchdowns all you look for?

****ing hell. It’s preseason. Dude threw a pass 1% of NFL caliber QBs could have thrown. Let’s wait for the actual season before we start making decisions
