Honestly, and this isn't just me installing false hope, the team could very likely be the Buffalo Bills.

They've made it very clear they aren't satisfied with Fitzpatrick, aren't strangers to trashcan searching for QB's and will be running a WCO. They are also in the position to where they likely won't be able to pick and choose whatever QB they want in the draft.

Mystery teams for FA's and trades happen all the ****ing time.

I absolutely guarantee you they started talking to teams about Smith the week after the Super Bowl. Gives teams a chance to sort out cap space.

Just in case you guys decide to take him and let Albert go; what are your thoughts on Albert? I'm not saying the Chiefs will let him go or the Eagles will get him, but I'm curious just in case. The Eagles might be looking at an OT to move Herremans inside, or an RG.

All I know about Albert is stuff I've seen when watching the Chiefs play sparingly, and I remember Reid was high on him before the draft because he could play guard or tackle.

Better pass-blocker than run-blocker, but his run blocking is perfectly fine. He's gonna look great once he blocks for a QB who isn't a complete reerun cripple.
