Is Veach waiting for a loss to start fixing the defense?
Maybe I'm wrong, but in my opinion, when you have this type of once in a lifetime offense, you do what needs to be done to "buy" a championship (ie: Royals in 2015). I know we're just a few games in, but at what point does Veach start trading off draft picks to fix the defense? Or is he possibly that naïve that he does nothing and rolls with the "we'll improve as the year progresses" type of stance? Another couple weeks for the "teams playing for draft position" to separate themselves?

BTW, it took all I could to write that in a civil manner without any swearing or bitching.

We still got guys that need to play and develop that we drafted. It's early in the season. Yes our defense is bad but lets see if we can get Berry back on the field I don't think they counted on him being out this long.

Scandrick is actually the best CB on the roster right now according to PFF. He's not going anywhere.
