Peppers is the third best safety in the class. Doubt he's going top 10. And I'm guessing Watt and Mahomes would both have to be taken with our first pick to have a chance with them

Players always drop further than expected.
Draft projections are best case scenario...not every player will be fortunate enough to fall within the best case scenario. Out of the rankings above, I think TJ Watt would be a steal as a late 2nd and De'Veon Smith will be a steal in the 5th. Mahome will be there in the 3rd. There aren't near as many QB-needy teams this coming season as there usually are.

I'm not saying this mock does it but history shows that most of the mocks done on CP over draft players by at least a round and sometimes more compared to where that actually get drafted.
