I'll be interested to see what starts coming out in the next few days from the guys here that have insider contacts (Frank, Boss, BRC, etc.)...

From what I'm hearing, some of the draconian tactics yesterday were mandated by Pioli, as if he's trying to protect his image going into the NEXT job.

I have no doubt that the Golf Cart Gestapo was merely following orders from Pioli.

As for the rationale, that sounds like a bit of a stretch to me, to be honest. Purposefully and aggressively alienating the fan base doesn't seem like a job-seeking strategy of any sort whatsoever. It just sounds like a petty, egotistical, madman with Henry VIII Syndrome running wild.

I'm not sure how much more definitive you could be. Its why they refused to touch or hold a sign like it was a heavy plutonium isotope when I tried to hand one to them.

It really is a Nazi regime. Not only do you have the Golf Cart Gestapo giving you the yellow star treatment, you have Roleo performing a perfect Sgt. Schultz at every press conference with his "I know nothing" routine. Plus, there's a new, ginger, viking Joseph Goebbels in town to tell us how great we are.

I eagerly await the final solution in which Pioli decides to round up the fans and put them on a train to Omaha.

On top of being an incompetent GM, Pioli truly seems like he is seriously mentally ill. He'll never work in this league again other than picking up the Krafts' dry cleaning.

It seems that a lot of people have elected to ignore or avoid this sad truth, but Mr. BlackBob may have been correct.

I'm 100% convinced that Pioli is emotionally disturbed. Sunday removed all lingering doubt.
