Big Ben is one of my favorite qbs ever, that being said. His price tag would be too high.

Yup. And at his age, why not. I don't blame him.

I would much rather see him in a system like Minnesota or Buffalo or Tennessee to close his career. That's the kind of system the Steelers should have built, but failed to.

Yeah, but none of those teams are gonna have the ability or want to move to Ben.

Locker in Tennessee and manual in buffalo, and the Vikings are.....well who knows what.

It would be quite amazing if a guy like Mike Tomlin becomes available, and personally I think it would force the Texans hand to get rid of Kubiak purely because of circumstance. I am highly opposed to Kubiak being on the hot seat like he is, he has brought that team all the way from laughing stock to AFC contenders up until this disaster year. After saying all of that I do believe if the Steelers are dumb enough to get rid of Tomlin that he would end up being the head coach in Houston, that's called the glove fitting the hand(we've seen how that works) but Kubiak would be out of work about as long as Andy Reid was with his glove fitting the hand of say a Tampa Bay perfectly(although their lineman don't currently zone block under Schiano)

Doing that for a 32 year old qb with injury concerns isn't too smart of an idea.

Draft and develop your own qb. Our front office has excelled at that, I wouldn't expect them to stop now.

Raplisburger is nearly a carbon copy of McNabb in terms of ability.
