I think Duffy stays in/makes the postseason rotation over Young unless his start yesterday was the beginning of a significant backslide.

He's been really effective since the beginning of July. Yeah, he got lit up a bit in Toronto, but that's the best offense in baseball and a tough matchup for anyone.

Not sure Ventura is a lock unless he begins to consistently pitch well.

Hilariously, the DFA comment came the Toronto game right before the all star break where Madson was roughed up for the first time all season long and was pitching with an ERA around 1

He got a tailor made ground ball DP that Esky booted then Infante dropped. On the next two hitters, the Blue Jays singled to RF, and both times our RF'er went home with the ball allowing the tying ans lead runners into scoring scoring position, before the final out of the inning was recordred.

Toronto also crushes lefties. They have so much right-handed power. It is like the ultimate bad matchup for Duffy.
