It is my opinion that Davis would put up big numbers in a zone blocking scheme. I think in Houston or Dallas he would do damage.

Has Murray even attempted a pass this preseason? Yeah...let's trade Danial. Players are dropping like flies so far...just trade away the depth that Dorsey has built to acquire new depth.

If Dorsey trades some depth, it more than likely be just prior to the last cuts, trading guys that have some value to teams with needs that are too far down in the waiver order be awarded the premium cuts.

Jumps down off crazy box
Why would the performance of Murray influence Daniel's trade value?

Stats show that Murray has made 1 attempt in the preseason.

I have no idea what the **** Reid is doing?

Why in the holy **** would you not want Murray to learn and develop?

That's not what I meant...I meant if Smith gets hurt...his replacement has been trusted with one pass in 2 games.

Also, he's an Arkansas guy, and Jerry likes those.
Didn't really consider him. He's valuable to us. A return man, and a good next man up when Charles needs a blow, or gawd forbid...

At the same time, he isn't versatile enough for Andy, as his blocking and catching ability could both use work.

Bring on the emergence of West, and I guess I can see this.

Not sure what he's worth, or if anyone's desperate enough for a RB to make it worth or while.

I know but shouldn't Reid want Murray to have some experience if they showcase and then trade Daniel? Reid has not given Murray ANY experience so far in the preseason games. We can't trade Daniel because Reid hasn't develop another option to backup Smith besides Daniel.

Reid is really starting to piss me off.

Why in **** wouldn't you try to develop Murray?

I wish our media had a single set of balls between them all to ask pertinent questions about shit like this.

It's starting to look like Alex Smith is going to be Reid's QB as long as he's in KC so there is no need to develop anyone else. Reid has his starter and his backup ... **** the rest.

I thought the discussion was potential trade teams for potential players?

I don't propose it, but with the loss of foster, I think Houston would be a great spot for Davis.

Jesus, chill out. Why would we worry about how much preseason time Murray gets when it is almost guaranteed he won't see meaningful time during the season? I'm a big Aaron Murray fan and think he has the potential to take over some day.. But it's not this year, or even next. He will see plenty of time in the 4th game

And Reid has shown he isn't scared of making controversial moves at the QB spot. If Smith doesn't perform he will be replaced

so not going to develop Murray because he's not going to start this year ... got it. We are just talking about calling a few ****ing pass plays in a preseason game after all.

Then don't bother drafting a QB because it's a waste of time.

Murray's contract is going to be up before he gets any chance to develop.
