Is there a way to turn OFF tags.

I really don't need to see all the little juvenile comments at the bottom of every page I look at.

I'm sure it was a good idea at the time, but there needs to be an opt-out function.

What the hell was the problem with tags anyway. How did they really hurt the reading experience on this site?
