What if's of the season...

1. Travis Kelce is the breakout tight end of the year.

2. Mike Catapono and Dee Ford prove to be monsters, perhaps combining for 15 sacks.

3. Abdullah or Commings play even just a little better than Kendrick Lewis.

4. D-Bowe plays like he did vs. Indy, more times than not.

5. Cooper plays like he did last year, and improves vs. Manning. (can't be worse..)

6. Smith/Jamaal/DJ/Houston/Hali/Berry/Poe stay healthy and good.

7. DAT replaces DMC, and then some.

8. The interior OL impresses. (I like Fulton)

9. Bailey/Walker get push that T-Jax never could.

10. and finally, Fisher steps up.

Obviously not all of these are going to occur, but if most or even half do... what should we expect this season? I just want a damn playoff win. The FO is making the team they want, lets see it work for once.

I am not a involved in the Chargers NFL franchise in any capacity, much in the same way you have zero bearing on any moves made by the Chiefs.

The quote, "But I know we're better than you", lacks context and screams of a hopeless homer who masturbates to images of Dontari Poe.

Explain how "you're" better than "me", or better yet, let's discuss football. How are "your" Chiefs better than "my" Chargers?
Regalar season record we were better, your first team giving it all they could, barely kept up with our powerful second string team lmao. You played basically the same sched we did and had a shittier record. You beat a Bengals team that hasn't won a playoff game in how long? You have a head coach who only even got the miserable job of being the leader of a horrible franchise who has yet to win a Super Bowl because of Peyton Manning being the qb of the last team he coached on. Your team much like your sex life after your creepy uncle finally got arrested on child porn charges is gonna take a big step back. But don't worry you'll still have Phyllis Quivers in there and he's good for one thing.... Sucking big bags of dicks not unlike the rest of your pathetic fan base!
This season is gonna be harder on every team in this division. But don't worry, when your team sucks worse than ReerunKC on a drunken bender you can still come here and run your crap filled mouth!! Cuz apparently you got laughed off the message board for the team you like??

What if this season is just like last season or worse

Expect it

Right one you might wanna buy in like a royals fan during the winning streak but save yourself some heartache. I would like to be excited but did you see that last game in Indy? That is what I as a chief fan have brought myself to expect.

I'd be happier than Macklemore at a dick sucking convention if we win 11 regular season games again.

Regular season games don't matter if you can't win in the playoffs

Agreed, but I'd like to get there first. Two playoff births in a row would be fantastic. Granted, I would pray that the bed isn't sauteed in shit like it was last year against Indy.

Quit playing with your Mommy's laptop and go to bed.
We were in a great position to win one playoff game, but unfortunately we choked it away. Thus is the life of a Chiefs fan . . . .

Congrats on your playoff win against the Bengals. Maybe you should hang a banner for it? Of course, you do realize you were only playing that game because 'our' (since you seem to like that terminology so much) Chiefs were nice enough to play our second stringers against the Chargers in Week 17 and it STILL took a super human effort from your first team and questionable officiating to get your team into the playoffs . . . . you must be so proud.

Can we be real for a second? The Chiefs were literally the worst team in the NFL 2 seasons ago going 2-14. In the first year of a new GM, new coach and new organizational philosophy, they went 11-5, made the playoffs and took a huge step forward for the future. Were some of those wins a little smoke and mirrors because of injury situations with other teams starting QB's? Sure. I have no problem admitting that. But they became at LEAST an average NFL team last year, one year removed from being a 2-14 national joke. I would call that progress. And that average team, went into Indy in a playoff game against a really good QB in Andrew Luck and after just a few plays, lost their best player in Jamaal Charles, and still managed to make the Colts look like the Jags for an entire half of football. That shows the *potential* of this team going forward.

Now let's look at the Chargers. You have a QB in Rivers, who is aging and managed to discover something last year that we haven't seen for years, as he has been absolute garbage the last few prior years (as even your OWN fans have stated) and now you're going into this year expecting to challenge Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos for division supremacy? Do you really think, honestly, that Rivers will be able to repeat the season he had last year? And what's even funnier is your own fan base seems to think the late addition of Brandon Flowers is the move that puts your defense over the top! You did watch Flowers play in Arrowhead against your Chargers last year, I assume? Were you particularly impressed with his play? Just curious. I realize you didn't get to see him in Week 17 (that was the game that 'our' second stringers played against your teams starters and you stil barely managed to win to make the playoffs, just in case you forgot) so you had a small sample size to view. I like Flowers. He's a good guy. Hard worker. But, unfortunately, he's nothing more than a slightly above averge CB at this point in his career. If Chargers fans think that was the move that will put your team and defense over the top and allow you to compete with Peyton Manning . . . . well, good luck with that.

Bottom line: your team is aging and trying to hang on with Rivers for one last 'hurrah'. The Chiefs are an average NFL team, after being atrocious two years ago and are extremely young and improving. We will get better. We're building something to last under Dorsey and Reid. I hope you enjoy the next two years of playing second fiddle to Manning and the Broncos. Until he retires and the Chiefs are ready to step forward and take control of the division for years to come.

I look forward to the future. I hope you do too . . . .

Hey remember that time the Chargers won the Super Bowl?? Me either!!
As far as homers I guess I am. A homer or #truefan?? That must mean a person who actually loves and has positive passion about their team. Who tries to keep a positive outlook on the season even before it begins, but understands his role. If things aren't going my way I understand that all the bitching in the world won't change anything because I'm not an actual coach or FO employee of the team I follow. I guess that because I haven't already called the season a loss before we even put pads on I'm a truefan or homer! So wtf does that make the people who bitch constantly, and are already packing the 2014 season up? In my opinion it makes them someone who has no life and would do good trying to talk to actual people of the opposite sex for a change!! #truefan4life
