How many days are you working Christmas week?
With Christmas right in the middle of the week next Wednesday, a lot of businesses will take that as a good reason to be closed on some extra days other than just Christmas or Christmas Eve.

So how many days are you working next week? Lets just call it Sunday through Saturday. Working any weekdays at all? Perhaps you are going to work the weekends to avoid working during the week? Will you have even more than those seven days off? Lets hear it!

I took this week off as my last week of vacation for the year as I get all new time off Jan 3rd. Plus the company I work for is always closed Christmas thru the New Year. So I'm getting 19 days off paid.

Last day is this Friday, go back Jan 2nd. 3 holidays, 4 weekend days, 5 vacation days to get 12 days off. If kids weren't coming home for Christmas I would save it for when the weather is nicer.

I'll be working every day but Christmas. Nearly everyone on my staff is taking the week the week off, so I figure someone should be there to man the fort.

I actually don't mind it, because it's very quiet and I can get a lot of work done.
