Greatest accomplishment in the history of sport?

With all the recruiting advantages the LHN brings Texas, and overcoming the biased officiating for KU, is K-State winning the conference in both major sports in the same year the greatest accomplishment ever?

We are trying to be good Kansans and celebrate with you. But you just can't be happy. I don't know how you can be so upset over words.

We care about you, PB.

You are correct. We only played north opponents twice and south opponents once.

Looks like KSU has found a new realm of ignobility. First Big 12 Co-Champ to get swept (home and away) by the team they share the title with.

I don't know why that dude above had to go attack the reporter rather than waiting for the actual facts to come out. Now, he looks like a total idiot. (I mean, he looked like one before, but you know what I mean right?)

Kellis is pretty much a moron. That much is undeniable. I'll concede Mikey tends to overemphasize the KU aspect of Kellis. I don't think he's an idiot. At times idiotic, but not an idiot.

I read the quote and I don't see it as attacking Bill Self or KU. I see it as kind of a joke. Frank (God how I miss him) wouldn't have said that. Unless it happened in a KSU game.

A classless joke, though. As for Frank, I can just about guarantee he wouldn't have said anything like that in any situation. He was never one to pin the responsibility for wins and losses on officials. I remember a few years ago KSU got a ton of bad calls in a big game (it was probably against KU, I can't remember) and some reporters tried to goad him into a reaction about it. He wouldn't have it, said the calls weren't the reason for the outcome, and took responsibility for the loss himself.

GH: This is the money quote from Weber – and the quote that has KU fans pissed. Robinette didn’t include it in his KC Star article that covered KSU’s Monday night party in Bramlage – and that makes me wonder how accurate it is – or if Robinette is trying to calm the KU/KSU rivalry’s flames. Well, good luck with that.

Greatest acccomplishment in sport, in 1920 Babe Ruth hit more home runs than any other major league team. He repeated the task in 1927. He set the single season HR record 4 times by 1927 pushing it to 60 HR. In 1920 the old record of 29 was broken with a 54 HR season. His record 29 HR in 1919 was done with him starting 15 games as a pitcher.
