Good trade for both sides. Saints get rid of a malcontent that they werent using any damn way, and Cardinals get some RB help.

I'm happy for all parties here.
I want to see AP or AD get a chance to run the ball. Mid season trades are also fun. The old NFL is a changing! |

Peterson wasn't going to be a good soldier here as a backup, but I'd have been intrigued to see what he could've done to spell Hunt.
He's just such a bruiser that if you could use him for a drive or two in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to just punish the DL and hope to soften them up a bit, he'd have been a nice fit. But as a pure RB, he's probably pretty useless these days. I doubt he has much left. He would've just been a nice setup for the powerful 4th quarter push you could get from Hunt and save some miles on Hunts legs.

and DJLN - that's not to say I didn't think AP would NOT work how you'd mentioned - but he's now 'taken' -- that's all.
