Tigers get Price. Royals get Jack Shit.

Tigers tighten hold on division with a blockbuster trade.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/tigers-...204522907.html

In other baseball news..

Royals get Jack Shit-hope for the best. Decide 2nd or 3rd for the next ten years is not too bad-after all they are still making a profit.

So who is jumping off the Royals bandwagon now?

I think it is time for Dayton and Yost to take a hike also, but not because they didn't make some mythical trade you seem to think they missed out on today.

I agree. That's why I said "if". I tend to think that he A's are a better team and I don't think the Tigers will beat them in the playoffs.

In fact I would add Cain to the Shields, Holland, Butler list. He can't play more than 1-2 games in a row anyway so WTF?

Seriously though, the only players off limits should have been:
Perez
Duffy
Ventura
Gordon
Escobar
Davis or Holland, take your pick

Other than that everyone is fair game and we had the pieces for a trade to get Cespedes. Moore is a ****ing moron

I guess the Tigers believe in Myths- because they made that trade. Keep defending the Royals 30 year track record of futility.

I'd shorten that list to Duffy, Perez, and MAYBE Gordon.

You better run out and buy your A's gear than dumbass! You won't be seeing the Royals in the playoffs for years to come. Not with a scrooge, absent owner, an ineffective GM and a over his head manager.

Anyone who is giving Moore a pass on not making a move, particularly for Cespedes, and more even more in particular after passing on Cruz and even MORE in particular while being GM of the worst HR team in baseball, is a dumb **** face and needs to drink an anti-freeze cocktail with aids on the rim of the glass /rant off

I'm not defending the Royals track record on anything. I want Dayton and Yost gone too. I'm simply pointing out that your tantrum of a thread is ****ing stupid. The Royals needed a bat, not a pitcher, and the only one of any significance that was traded was Cespedes. Was Billy Beane going to take Shields instead of Lester for Cespedes? I don't know, but I doubt it.

Why does Oakland want Holland or Butler? Oakland has a nasty closer. Butler has no value. Lester has pitched great in the Post season Lester kills Shields.
