Jamaal should be even better with a Reid offense that has the opposing defense not stacking the box because they respect the pass.
and if Geno is our QB, defenses will have to respect the deep ball.

That said, I would only trade Charles for Adrian Peterson or an Elite QB.

Im not worried about Charles getting old for a few more years. But if he has another year with 285 carries I would worry. The idea was that Hillis would spell Charles and keep his carries around 200 or less. That didn't work for shit. They either need to bring in a guy who can balance the carries or get an OC who can get Hillis to produce. They wouldn't trade Charles unless they plan on blowing everything up a la the Colts.

One of the problems with Hillis is that he needs blocking, and a functional Offense, to succeed. He can do the hard inside running when you move defenders out of the box but he's not going to do much with eight or nine defenders waiting for him.

I still think Hillis can be good. But apparently Daboll forgot how to make it work.

His trade value will never be higher than right now, and the draft picks we'd get could go a long way toward rebuilding the O Line to protect GENO!!!

What ya think?

Yes, yes, because running backs are so highly sought after in today's NFL.

LeSean McCoy got a ton of carries the past few years... I don't think Reid is anti-run. He's just anti- run it with average RBs when he has a great passing game.
