I had their orange chicken for lunch today. It's pretty good. I help it along with some Maggi sauce for the rice and a nice locally produced hot sauce that one of my friends at work brought me from Indiana that perfectly compliments the flavor.

well see this depends - the single portions is pretty small, actually. It's what they call a bowl portion. Rice w/ one side. it's like $6.49 or something.

It's not very good and the portions are too small. I can get real Chinese food for the same amount of money and actually get huge portions. Sometimes I'll even have leftovers. Not to mention it'll actually be made by Chinese people and not Puerto Ricans. Nothing against Puerto Ricans. They're fine people. I just want my Chinese food to be made by Chinese people.

We have a family friend that is a manager. She sometimes will bring some extra food including Orange Chicken to us. But she said that the sodium in the food is just way too high, but that is the company's recipe. She doesn't eat the Orange Chicken herself.

Chinese isn't really a top choice food for me. It has a overly salted and artificial flavor to me.
However, since portion size is pretty low on my list of dining priorities and the food is similar to any other place in town, I do go to panda about once per year. I'll eat this kind of Chinese about twice a year, with a local place being the other spot.

I'd guess the majority of restaurant food in the US is made by Mexicans/Mexican Americans. Also, the Chinese food I've had while in Mexico has been fantastic. They kind of excel at rice as well.
