DayZ
With the DayZ standalone playable alpha release looming, I thought I would check out the mod version of the game. http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/

If you dont know, DayZ is an open world survival zombie game modification based off of the military sim ArmA 2 games. www.dayzmod.com

Basically its hardcore mode survival against zombies and even more dangerous, other players.

I have been watching vids for months and took advantage of a steam sale today to pick up ArmA 2.

Anyone playing DayZ right now? Servers? Thoughts? I have a teamspeak we can use!

Falx I wanna play Altis life again, but we can find a server that starts us with $50,000 so we dont have to start with apples and can just get geared up, do a couple delivery missions, and then have enough money to start our drug/gun empire.

We where playing some altis life the other night yes..

I have SO many hours in DayZ right now i am going to wait until stable branch is updated with all the cool new gadgets before I dive back in very heavily.

logged in lastnight and played for a while. Baseball Bats are worthless. Mike Tysoning zombies is 100x better then using a bat. lol

ANyways, they made the zombies move a ****ton better. They still go through walls like they arent there though, but game seems to be playing better.

lots of improvements on stable, though I havent played it yet. Hotfix incoming for Tents/persistent items at some point

They have spider zombies as well. i thought that was pretty cool. I seen something hopping at me, im like wtf is that. Spider zombie! Seems to be a bit more zombies in towns as well. ****ers were everywhere.
