I'd give Baldwin a chance this year. However, his lack of explosiveness is definitely concerning. Additionally, I think his confidence took a huge hit this year. Impossible to know or confirm without talking to the guy but that's what it seemed to me.

Motivation and preparation are just as much a coaches responsibility as they are the players.

Show me a receiver that improved in KC over the last 3 years...there aren't any. Breaston was benched...Bowe sat idle (after Haley left) Dexter regressed and nobody else even quasi showed up. I would contend that falls on the coaches just as much as the talent that was acquired.

It also has to do with the trust the receivers had in the QBs we had...its hard to give full effort when the quarterback cant even see you.
