Welp, my contract's coming up.

I've played out my 8 year rookie contract. November is coming up, and at that point I'll be hitting the free agency market.

Unless you guys want to sign me to a long term deal, making me ChiefsPlanet's Franchise Post Whore. Every board needs one to win.

I'll be asking for top dollar. I'm expecting a handsome payday, and if you even think about franchising me, I will hold the **** out. You should just trade me to Arrowhead Pride if you think I'm going to let you guys run all over me.

I'm a producer on the board, a leader in the locker room, and I've only had three DUIs since I've been here. That's not too many, right!?

Game on, you cheap bastards.

Besides, AustinChief knows I'll take less money to bring on key roleplayers like Pawnmower and BossChief.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Other plusses I bring to the table as a Franchise Post Whore:

* Oodles of late night bullshit.
* Mock drafts.
* Target practice for the more cynical Planeteers next time I proclaim it's "hard not to like" a roundly despised player.
* All too early prognostications about putting Dorsey's head on the chopping block.
* Moar mock drafts.
* Tree ****ing.
* My whore of a mother.
* "Let's talk about" our next week's opponent.
* Who wants another mock draft?

We all know the franchise can't afford to sign anyone to that kind of contract anyway. Not with all the dead money owed to Phobia and Dane.

This franchise has no depth, really. Our draft last year was horrid, nothing but a bunch of Alex-apologist Niner fans. Sounds like Kaepernick is the only rookie there who will even contribute long term. Everybody else is JAGs.

Direckshun,

Please report to the office with your playbook/ipad/KC Chiefs broke ass $79 Android tablet.

Look, there is no denying you've got talent but you've never been willing to put in the off the field work to get better. We gave you 8 years of opportunity and you still haven't learned to ****ing embed a gif! We can't afford to extend you that kind of contract. Good luck.

We drafted Exoter to replace your overpaid ass.

He's a one-trick pony, and kind of a shitty one at that. Hasn't been seeing the field much as a result. But he can learn and improve over this season and offseason.

He also plays the piano, which is pretty damn cool. He's a special young man.
