Seeing as I practice in a rural area and have to go into the office late at times for emergencies, I am in the process of getting my CCW. Don't figure I'll ever need it, but would like to have atleast.

Considering I work in a field that deals alot with pharmaceutical drugs and yes, there are alot of people out there who seek that kind of stuff, added to the fact that I'm trying to build a business so I don't really turn away anyone right now, yes, I'm looking into buying a firearm to protect myself.

I have no idea if those that I would be protecting myself against were spanked or not spanked as a child though. The also could be children of single parent households or something, so maybe divorce is a reason for the devolution? I dunno.

Single parent families are as big an issue as anything for sure. I have always believed that.

If you were aware violent crime is down you wouldn't have alluded to its rise being caused by inadequate parental discipline in the Peterson thread.

I think it's just a lot harder to get away with stuff now. Cameras are every where. Forensic science has greatly improved. Everyone has a cellphone. Better security systems. Etc.
