I thought there should be a little something on this delicious snack/ingredient w/ a zing.

What do you all used them for - stuff them? dice and top stuff?

Interesting when deep fried - or - cooked period; how they'll lose their pungency , yet carry a nice green pepper-esque flavor.

Where and how do you use these toward your recipes?

Have you had ground jalapeno powder (spice) - what do you use it in?

I like the bacon and cream cheese combo w/ the jalapeno pepper.

What about snacks, chips or crackers or whatever that's jalapeno flavored??

Anyone ever add to a juice (like from a juicer 'juice'?)

I appreciate any new, fresh ideas w/ these bad boys.

all night long.
just picked up a pepper holder at home depot last weekend. it holds the pepps up while you smoke/grill them. i'll hollow out the middle, after i cut off the top, of course.
fill it with cream cheese, cheddar cheese and smokey bacon.
will be well worth the diabeetus.

if you want heat/pungency, keep the seeds. If you just want the flavor with a little spice, scoop them out

I was at "Sonic" the other day and they offer a Jalapeno-Chocolate Milkshake. Idk wtf that's all about.

Stir fry

Bacon with cheese

Minced into my hamburger patties

Garden salads

Grilled whole

Chopped and added to my spaghetti sauce

stuffed peppers are awesome

You can adjust the heat by how much you clean them out. You can flavor them however you like by stuffing them with a filling you enjoy.


clean them out
stuff them
bread them
deep fry them

Brown some ground sausage, or chicken or pork.

De-seed and half the peppers.

Combine and stir cream cheese, green onions and your shredded cheese of choice.

Let the sausage cool and add into cream cheese mixture.

Fill up each jalapeno half with your desired amount of mixture.

Place in oven.

here's a great dip with blue corn tortilla chips

greek yogurt
green salsa
a little celery salt
garlic
sliced jalapenos with a little of the juice

slice hem in half long was. keep some of the veins. scoop in a mixture of sour cream, cream cheese, and crumbled cooked spicy sausage. wrap in bacon. bake.


it's like crack cocaine. every time I make it for games, everyone (including myself) eats so many we're not even hungry for the 'real' food lol. they are also good througout the game.
