Worst BBQ restaurant you've ever ate at?
Went to a place call A Little BBQ Joint in Independence today. Sign outside said Burnt Ends soon to be world famous, so I go in and get the burnt ends, BBQ beans, and Cole slaw. Sides weren't terrible, but the burnt ends taste like they had beef jerky rub, were fairly tough and the saltiest thing I've ever eaten. I'm not a picky eater and I could barely finish the burnt ends.

So, what's the worst place you've had BBQ?

I live 5 min from there but we never go there for BBQ. Its ok, average I guess, but it is over priced and theres just always better options.

That doesn't surprise me, the area did seem a bit sketchy. But being from out of town we didn't know any better. Surprisingly the place had good Google reviews, I'm guessing they all must be fake.

Back in the day- Zarda's in Blue Springs was awesome...then they got too greedy. They doubled and tripled their prices while cutting their portions in half. Last time I was there- I got the lunch special and left hungry.

They have a new Dickeys close to me and it was terrible. Even with a (buy a dinner get one free coupon) it was $30.00 for two meals. They put about 2 ounces of brisket on the plate then mince it up in a pile to make it look bigger. Will never go back.

In the 80s Zardas were very good particularly the Blue Springs location. The bean plant and all the money they make on that took the focus off smoked meats IMO.

Springfield.bbq was trash. I hate places that givenyou crisps as a side. i want fries. I lived by that Zarda in 87th it was ok. The best thing about it was that it was still edible and you didn't ever have to wait long. Plus near.thr under.bridge on quivera there are giant ground hogs always being fat and stuff.
