Who cares? He's one of the best ILB in the NFC. He's a sure tackler and a very, very good coverage linebacker. He's also good for a handful of sacks as well.
If the Chiefs could add him for a third day pick, they shouldn't even think twice about it. Reid drafted him in 2012 and he's entering his prime. This defense would be beastly. |

Well, he would either start next to Mauga or DJ. There are no guarantees that DJ, after suffering the Achilles and entering the season at age 32, will play like his younger self.
Kendricks is on the last year of his rookie deal and would cost less than $1.5 against the cap this year and if he plays as expected, could have the position locked up for four years. Do it, Carl. |

If the comp. picks were a 3rd or 4th (Albert, injured), 2-4th's (Tyson & Asomoah) & a 5th (Schwartz, injured) I say heck yeah. It'd still leave the team with 2 or 3 - 4ths at the end of the round.

I'm not sure you can count on much from dj. Seems that's gonna be a rough injury to return from.
Hell, they could trade for this jendricks, draft the other one and be set. |

Imagine that! An inside linebacker that can drop into coverage and not look like this: |

I'd give up a 4th for him. We'd still have 4 picks in the top 3 rounds.....plus two 5ths, a 6th and 2 7ths. Trading for him would eliminate the need to draft an ILB high...unless one fell to us.
