I went to Albuquerque for work a couple years ago and we were taken to Pueblo Harvest Cafe. It was really good, like really really good. Plus it's in a museum that has a lot of cool Native American stuff.
It's a short highway trip from the University if you're in that area, maybe 5-10 minutes. |

In Memphis, you can't go wrong with The Soul Fish Café. I prefer the one on Cooper.
The best fried shrimp I have ever had. They are butterflied and dusted, not battered. They are very consistent. Cooked to perfection 10 out of 10 times. It is easy to overcook shrimp, but these guys get it right every time all the time. Their whole catfish is to die for, as well. Wash it down with a High Cotton. Local Memphis brewery. http://www.soulfishcafe.com/ Dinny Last edited by Dinny Bossa Nova; 07-29-2016 at 08:20 AM.. Reason: Link? |

I know where you can find pizza. People still go by this house and toss whole pizzas on the roof. |

Amarillo has the Big Texas Steak Ranch and across the hwy at the Petro there's a guy that sells the white smoke and the green smoke but I think he might be a cop.

I've been in Nashville twice in the last month and there are a lot of good options.
I ate at a place in Nashville called Peg Leg Porker near downtown Nashville a couple of weeks ago, it was good. If you are staying there, take the detour to Lynchburg which is about an hour away and do a tour of the Jack Daniels distillery, do the $13 tour and you'll taste 5 shots at the end. Memphis.....put your gun in your lap and drive through that sonnabitch and go somewhere else. I stayed in Olive Branch, MS instead....I'll never go back to Memphis if I can help it. what a shithole. |

If you're coming in from the West it will be on the other end of the City on the left. Also a buffalo WW there at the same spot. There's also a Hooters on the West side of town as you come in. All are right there on I-40. Don't know of any ghey establishments there.

Vernon's Speakeasy in Albuquerque! It's a gangster style place. When you make your reservation, they give you a password to get in the restaurant. Great, great steak as well.
