I got RG3 and Kap on the same team in the mid-late rounds with Foles going 1 pick before my first one taken. With the 4th pick I got Forte and Julio. I would def go RB In the first and best available in the second

In a start 1 RB league where the scoring is slanted to QBs, WRs, and pass catching RBs, take the stud RB.

Yeah I'm either going Shady, ADP or Manning. I could probably live with a QB like Cutler or (Puke) Rivers. I might not feel to confident starting Bell or Foster every week.

My suggestions...
#1 get out of the idiotic FFL league which vastly over values QBs #2 if you don't follow suggestion #1 draft Manning and pray he doesn't get injured. A quick check of last year's numbers show that Manning in your screwy league will score somewhere around 22,307,410 points. |

My first round picks are typically the equivalent of the Madden
curse. I'm set to pick fifth, and if Manning is on the board, I'm taking him. It's a win/win either way! |

I beat Peyton Manning in the same weak in the playoffs last year. My two QBs were Josh McCown and Andrew Luck. Luck drafted in 8th and McCown was a FA. Point is, wait on a QB. I try to never draft a QB earlier than the 6th round and its a formula that has proven successful. Now if someone falls to you say at the end of the 3rd like Bree's or Rodgers, I may reconsider. One other thing. If you do draft one of the top 5 QBs like Manning, Brees, Rogers, Luck or Stafford, DO NOT draft another QB. You will never play the backup, except for bye week or injury. The waiver wire is too deep with QBs, and more than likely you will need that spot for depth at another position.

Not a bad trio of RBs, esp with the limit and being a keeper league. Other than A. Brown your WRs are lacking (and who is Saunders?)

In a 6 point TD league... Manning is, without a doubt, the #1 pick. Trust me. Have you guys watched the preseason? With these illegal contact penalties multiplying by the dozens Manning is going to throw 60 TDs this year. Please, please, please, please, please LISTEN to me for once... Draft QB's and WR's... STAY AWAY FROM RB's My RB's are going to be guys like Joique Bell, Andre Ellington, Lamar Miller, etc... PLEASE TRUST ME ONE TIME THIS IS THE YEAR YOU DON'T TAKE RB'S EARLY TAKE RECEIVERS AND MAKE SURE IF YOU CAN...GET PEYTON MANNING Manning is the #1 pick in every 6 point league...and there's a really good ****ing debate for taking him in a 4 point 1 QB traditional league, too |

If anything....
Load your ****ing team up with receiving weapons early... and then unload 1 or 2 of them for a RB 2 weeks before the cold months hit |

Since the Manning owner is an Eagles fan I could probably trade McCoy and either Cutler or RG3 for Manning and Bush. Bad idea? Last edited by CanadianChief; 08-30-2014 at 12:40 PM.. Reason: Typo |
