I should have phrased that better than 'more like the books'. It made it come across like I was being critical of the Raimi movies and I'm not (well, not the first two). It was more about the perception of the new one. The trailer makes the new one look dark, and apparently it isn't. Spider-man is supposed to behave like Spider-Man in the books, it's not an emo movie or anything like that.
