I argue that even Marty's firing wasn't the same as this. Marty was fired right after the playoffs, at a fairly normal time when coaches/GMs are let go. We just went through an entire offseason, draft, and are about ready for training camp.
I can't think of another time where a coach or GM was fired right before a season like this. |
